still cant believe this. definitively my "favourite pro" or whatever but went way beyond that. probably watched his gravis part once a day for a year when it came out. heres a gif of my favourite skateboard trick ever performed.

finally after 4 months of skating nearly every day I started to work on kickflips today! hoping to land one before it starts snowing and I can't really skate (pgh has no indoor parks). accepted the fact that this will take me a while so I'm just trying to break it down mechanically and focus on every part until I can put it all together.

also very cool side note: found this late 80s (was told '89) Shut NYC deck with 8.65?" ventures and "zombu" wheels, neither of which seem to exist anymore! Was able to get the old grip tape off with a blowdryer and putty knife and a lot of peeling and get it all gripped up fresh, new bearings and new bushings as well. So fun to ride.
