can you explain this anymore? Much of what i've read seems to suggest it is almost a mixture of the two, but everything i read seemed to say photos aren't that accurate as they give a 2D version, not showing depth, angles, shadow etc, when in reality all those things make up how you really look..., this makes sense as i can look different in two different photographs. The freaky thing about the mirror is that what you see every time you look in one is actually the reverse (i know, duh) so you're never actually seeing yourself how people see you.

Uncle is in the hospital with a broken rib and a punctured pancreas (I think) after falling while setting up speakers at a festival. Had surgery this morning and might have to have more surgery done on his spine later today. Kind of scary.
