can we make it so links pop up in new tabs? is anyone else in favor of this?

Why can't you just middle click instead of normal click? I always find it dubious when sites decide whether to pen things in tabs for me.

Have you guys ever attempted to add a mobile theme for the forum?

i use my iphone for the majority of my web browsing and it baffles me that anyone would desire a mobile skin. mobile interfaces are my own personal hell.

artodia looks like the best choice and i will look at it this weekend, plz get in touch if there are any other suggestions.

agree with ben. i use full desktop 100% of the time while mobile browsing. haven't seen many mobile skins that don't strip away most of the functionality of the site.

Also, how about a requirement on users to make a certain number of posts before they can start a thread? Something small like 10. Could prevent bots from spamming the site while discouraging people from joining only to sell in the market section.

There's a decent startup thats trying to bring forums onto mobile called tapatalk. Free for forumowner, free for users. Disclaimer: I don't work for tapatalk

fuck tapatalk, those popups are annoying and they're slimey as fuck with app updates. every so often when they release a new paid version they turn ads on in the old paid version to force people to buy the new one.

Fully responsive so it would look good on computers/tablets/phones and everything in between... Responsive images so you wouldn't have to worry about people linking giant imgur photos. etc...

how about making the market only visible to members? I'd feel better about giving good deals for my things if it was more likely to stay in the community, and this might also discourage drive by postings.

There are mods for blocking any posts with links in them below a certain threshold - that might have more success
