Hung out with and he was very cool and not an axe murderer. Unfortunately there is no photographic proof of this. (both the fact that we hung out and his not being an axe murderer)

It just happened that we hung out on the day of the starlight parade so we walked around it, I pointed out my old high school's band to him and we saw x-men. We walked around and went to Table of Contents, Powell's and Self Edge. (Also took him to the first J.Crew he's ever been in, which is a p dubious honor.)

He's traveling up and down the west coast, so you should say hello to him. I believe he checks his reddit account more regularly than C-T though.

Chicago people: what are people planning for crashing? My place isn't really accommodating for more than 1 or 2 people.

Someone mentioned possibly renting out a place either hotel or airbnb which sounds pretty fun imo.

planning to either crash at a friends place in chicago or if people are interested in a hotel/airbnb i'm down for splitting that with a group if people want to. as long as there's a floor and maybe a blanket i'm fine sleeping wherever

That's currently what it's planned for. If people have issues with that we may change it but for now that weekend is it.

We went and ate dim sum, went to Japantown, at crepes (THAT HAD ANIMAL FACES!), drank overpriced lipton and visited shops. Fruit and I marveled at the fact that suquida and incc were matching. Someone asked sid if we were all fashion students.

Schia actually joined us later in the day and we went and ate hotpot and then went to a random irish bar where I was flummoxed by the bread pudding. incc told us about his successes with meeting girls while rock climbing in economic terms (that didn't really make any sense).
