hi TAGS,

with my current work schedule I barely have time to help the other admins delete bot accounts let alone work on the development and maintenance of the forum (mobile page, more anti-bot prevention measures, maybe even a different forum infrastructure eventually).

if anyone is interested and has some php/phpbb experience and would be interested in accepting an administrative role on care-tags.org, please send me a PM here. to be clear, I do not need anyone to moderate the forum's active users or their behavior-- there's just a gap to fill with regards to the forum's development and software.

We've made some changes with new users now requiring moderator approval before their first post is visible that should hopefully cut down on the spam the rest of y'all see.

If you're a legitimate user and your post doesn't show up right away, don't fret!

Being unable to edit posts is really annoying. Last time it was brought up "quality control" was cited as the reason, but I'm finding that I have a few posts where the linked images/videos get removed or deleted or something. I've had to resort to reporting some of my own posts asking mods to fix the links to the images/videos. It bothers me having a bunch of my posts be basically pointless because the content linked within has become unavailable. I don't really see how that enforces quality control.
