People who got a gift but did not post pics or were late to send are not "bad", but it will be heavily frowned upon

People who got a gift but did not send one are "bad" unless they had a good (good) reason.

I don't think we should necessarily exclude anyone. Maybe warn the person who recieved them? (either is fine tbh0

By bad sharers I mean people who missed the ship by date by weeks with no legitimate reason

I'm anti giving them a chance tbh, it's different from scamming someone in a transaction but at the same time its kinda not. If you got paid for something and didn't ship or notify the buyer about why we would have zero sympathy

Not posting a pic is just frowned upon.

what's with all the hate for bad sharers, we should be friendly and accepting and not so critical

imo the most sensible idea is that you are willingly participating and you have a decision if the risk is worth it or not. i don't think it's fair to exclude someone on the basis of ONE care share (if it's a recurring event then maybe there's something more to it)

its really, really easy not to be a bad sharer though

if you have a reason for not being able to ship you just need to pm the organizer with why you can't/some idea of when you'll be able to and everything is fine

requires only a modicum of effort

shouldn't need to be any talk of risk of participation, there's no point in doing this if we're lacking that ability to trust ppl

Think if you start it now w/ a join limit of Oct 1, then give people like a month and a half or so to get the care-share? Mid Nov ship date?

Once this mainline care share has wound down I'm might launch a diffusion care share at a more accessible price point for people in distant countries/at school/etc.

Something like a hard limit where everything you send has to fit in an A5 jiffy bag? I will wait until this mainline share is over though.

Open your own thread with less attractive merchandising in a poorer part of town, but once customers are inside make no attempt to inform them that there's a difference between the diffusion share and the main one
