all i can say is that the creative road is probably harder than you even think. which is no reason not to do it

My partner is kind of struggling so I know it is actually harder that what we would imagine when thinking "creative". But the reward/satisfaction is so much worth it imo

one would hope so. tbh i know a lot of 'successful' artists (like signed with good galleries, have had mid-career retrospectives at museums etc). for many of them its no more intrinsically rewarding than, say, a hedge fund analyst coming up with a reasonably/temporarily successful algorithm or an urban planner successfully seeing through a new motorway bypass. obviously this is not true for everyone (including me).

I'll be moving into my first place soon enough. Does anyone have any recommendations on resources for learning interior design? Not in depth or as a career, just enough to get some ideas of how to start would be great.

Thanks guys. I'm definitely not into just looking at pics of rooms - more so some feng shui-type philosophies or ideas.
And , I love that idea, thanks. :D

I have quite a few books (some even under blister) that I would like to get rid of.
Is there a way to sell them (not to make a profit) without ebay and stuff? Some of them are quite huge and postage would be tricky.
I can provide a list here if some people are interested and able to collect them in London

Seems to be asking/posting too much here...
I would like to start reading again, both for the pleasure and "academic" training. What are the best bar libraries in central london?
i.e. I'm not especially looking for the classic huge libraries

Why women leave the stickers under their shoes?
Why has a brag topic where he's the only one active, and visible only when we're logged out?
