Dutch people are scary giants. at 6'2"/188cm there are few places where I feel short, but Amsterdam was one of those places.

I'm in rochester NY for the weekend. lots of old friends, sites and memories causing many feels. I will unpack a little bit when I'm home.

there is this guy who gets dropped off across from the bus i get for work who looks/dresses just like you ben. makes me smile every time, one day i'll get a creep shot but my phone has a permanent snap sound and i don't want to have the cops called.

I'm in Exeter visiting my sister at uni. Last night me.and my best friend went with her to some indie club night and showed them who's boss on the dancefloor. Spoiler: it was us.

It's fall break and nothing is open. I'm hungry.

There's a new private club that just opened in SF called . I guess it's based off the Soho Houses of london and nyc.

Apparently I live under a rock or am just really uncool because I had no idea such things existed. What are these things like? The Battery in particular sounds incredibly douchey, but the whole concept of these urban country clubs makes me irrationally angry.

I know there are still members only still in Britain and apparently America as well

Plenty stuff like that in Cambridge. Think there's also actually a members club that "anyone" can join.

In the end the club isn't the thing. If they let a random pleb in like us it'd just be like quite a nice bar. The thing is being in with the group which lets you in.

private clubs in a place where like 95% of the rich people are nouveau riche transplants seems so incongruous. but maybe that's the point.

yesterday i skipped running to have mcdonald's breakfast. later on, i sent my dad an email about skyping. his response was "we can't. your mom is running the marathon."

Ugh chem is my least favorite subject. Taken it 3 separate times and just didn't get it any of them.

I just got back from a visit to my sister at Uni. She's doing her second degree and I don't envy her. I still have nightmares about failing uni.

Human resources finally noticed after two and a half years that they've been accidentally paying for me to ride 1st class to work all this time. Bollocks! My day-in-day-out is going to get significantly worse now.

my apartment mate just got a geller shirt, w+h chinos, and is about to order a toj0. I feel the need to compete, some stop and hold me.

I love the test of pomegranate seeds but I hate the half-jelly, half-crunchy texture and also that they take 10 minutes to de-seed.

I lost my wallet last night. Fuck.

That sucks midvh - was it a good one? I used to have a wallet that was more expensive than the contents but now I just use a rubber band.

I'm going to make a zip wallet soon that I can put a chain on. I quite like biker chains and they can always be tucked away for different outfits.

Today my partner and I secured fabric for our first garment. This is a massive deal for us because we have to have it made up and minimums are huge.
