I just got back from 5 days in Brussels and Antwerp... and also 6 hours in London.

i hate when it rains, but the time aftter the rain is gone and the trees are green and lush and it's still dark because of the clouds is my favorite. i can't even explain it well enough.

also, i don't know what's changed, but now i can sit down, close my eyes and not think. just sit down and listen to the different sounds of the birds, feel the wind, and not focus on one particular thing. it's incredible once you get in a zone and you just feel a part of everything around you.

Ahh i should have!! My bad :( I was only in Antwerp for a day though.

I found lots of nice things but nothing i bought :( honestly can't afford anything right now unless it is on my essential list in bold. I'm also a little hm-hm about buying clothes on holiday 'cos i will always get caught up about being in a store and looking at stuff and that's cool and fun but i like buying and having a little time with the item to myself, seeing how it would work with everything i have etc. Popped into SS and a bunch of other places, as well as a second hand shops on the off chance there was a bargain (there wasn't).

But actually i DID come close to buying something in Stijl in Brussels. There was a beautiful Jan-Jan Van Essche cape type jacket thing which had a closed placket and drawstrings, wide 3/4 sleeves, kimono i guess, honestly such a perfect fit and look... but it was pushing 400 euros which made me lol-cry because i don't even have that amount in my bank and it was more than the cost of my entire trip.

So yeah, lots of nice things. Didn't go home with any of them.
