I'm assuming people were playing along with the "flintstone" thing in a way that I wasn't noticing, as it looked like it wasn't intentional. So I thought there might have been some kind of script running to switch them. I see now that that's not the case. Thanks!

Is there a reason why you can't delete (or edit) old posts? It's not a big deal, but it would be a nice feature to have.

the windows for editing and deleting your posts are 15 and 60 minutes. this is to encourage quality control

e: on majs point: i think plenty of people contribute to the site in different ways. iv noticed several people answer q's/reply by making a rep comment. that rep comment will not get any rep, but is still contributing to the forum. if someone says "where can i find x" and you reply with a rep saying "y" then you are contributing.

Reinforces positivity and people who are negging once they've got 100 rep are more likely to be negging for the right reasons.

Honestly i feel that unless content is purposely inflammatory that it shouldn't deserve negs. If you don't like something then ignore it or leave a comment explaining why if you can't bring yourself to use a +rep comment

Yo let's have less meta talk that ain't what we're about. Too many forums get bogged down talking about every change and detail of the medium itself and it's suffocating. CT has grown massively and there'll be changes/no changes/reversals of changes to suit the spirit and direction of the forum, best to make peace with that and just chat with friends about clothes instead.

don't think the rep mod allows for that but you can chat with ben about a customised option if he's open to it

I've been having a problem recently where the site automatically signs me out after a couple minutes even, it's caused me to lose a couple posts and sometimes won't allow to rep and then I have to sign back in to do it. Anyone else having this problem or any fix to it?

Yeah I get it consistently on my phone, but I just have autofill on login (using chrome) so it's not super inconvenient

I can't see embedded youtube videos at all anymore. this only concerns c-t, I can view them fine on any other site but here. vimeo embedding still seems to work
