the west wing is AMAZING. it is one of my favorite shows.

the theme song is my ringtone. i'm serious. and it chokes me up pretty often.

cj cregg is my girl-hero, and president bartlet is so lovable.

will surely have more to add

edit: also, the west wing is sort of sad in that it was airing nineties/early two thousands and ten years later we are still talking about the exact same shit.

i pretty much only watch that show for max greenfield, but even his character is kinda getting old

also, this second half of the walking dead has been so good so far. a lot of people seemed to have an issue with last episode but i loved the character development and dynamic that daryl and beth had

i kind of want to make an anime thread to keep up with all the shit i watch but i dunno if anywhere else here does D:

watched the first episode of true detective, it was pretty boring. good acting from matthew, but that's it. is it really worth it? didn't really give me an incentive to watch more

on another note watched house of cards s2 in two days, it was good

It's definitely worth it.

I didn't find the first episode remotely boring though.

TV shows I've watched in the last month:

3 seasons of Sherlock: fucking great show
3 seasons of Luther: great, but less consistent. Luther's behavior in the first season isn't very believable so I'm glad they mellowed him out a bit. Final ep of season 3 made me >:'[
3 seasons of Bob's Burgers: again
Looking: good show. kinda slow, but i watched at the rec of ben's gay friends. Richie is a whiny cunt, though.
True Detective: everyone is gushing about this show now so I hopped on the pop train. Awesome performances by Harrelson and McConaughey and lots of unnecessary nudity (but those women are tch tch so NO ONE is gonna complain)

After this week, I'll probably start on Hannibal because Bryan Fuller is awesome. Kinda worried that this show will get cancelled after two seasons just like all of his other good shows (Pushing Daisies, Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me) especially because I hear that they've planned out a 7 season arc for this one. Fun tidbit: Dead Like Me's website is apparently still active and not at all up to date http://www.deadlikeme.tv/

UK people could do with checking out Turks & Caicos on iPlayer. Bill Nighy, Christopher Walken, Winona Ryder, Helena Bonham-Carter in an odd sort of spy story thing. Gentle entertainment

Girls is my guilty pleasure, now that season 3 is over with I'm watching Sex and the City. Late 90's fashion is an amazing train-wreck.

Rust's shift from nihilism to existentialism during the last bit was a nice conclusion.
