My (only) flatmate. She's chubby and a bit cross eyed but I love her endlessly. She also has the most beautiful blue eyes. Her name is Mia but I didn't name her, I got her as an already named adult.

we rescued her from the SPCA in HK in 1998, making her an old lady at 16. she's had problems with her hind legs for a couple years now, both of he ACL's have torn and she has a lot of problems standing up or taking stairs, but is still smiling at her family and barking at squirrels outside.
my parents will probably be putting her down before the summer is over if not in a couple weeks. it's a shame because she's otherwise very healthy for her age, but she's eating less and less and the quality of life is spiraling quickly. I will be sad to see her go but she has lived a long and full life. smartest dog I have ever met.
