that's some spicy #metrogrammed shit hahaha. and yeah, i guess a lot of our trick selections are based around wallie variations & nose bonks (at least that's the case for me -- my friends have bigger bags of tricks)
from an la trip we did earlier this week (ie more wallrides but check out the kickflip up the la courthouse stage... bonkers)

dunno if gear talk is cool here too
i've been skating 70s converse lately and i'm pretty stoked on them for some strange reason. kinda slippery rubber at first but after i wore thru the shiny surface it's been p sick. insole's not too cushy either which is what i don't like about the ctas pros
i've also been feeling super short boards lately too -- the short quasi 8.5 blunt shape (think its a 31.8?) feels p good. i've got a scumco 8.375 on the way, kinda interested to see how they are since they're quite short too. don't really fuck with scumco graphics tbh but the shape looks nice

scumco graphics all look way better in person, veneers are so beautiful as well, haven't seen anything quite like them. have to support because they're the hometown heroes as well.
my only contribution to gear talk is how comfortable I am cruising and ollieing and doing all three non flip tricks I know on my 8.5 but can't get the board to even rotate halfway practicing kickflips but I can semi-reliably land them on my 8.15 (scumco!), also for what its worth has hollow trucks. I should just weigh both boards and see if the weight difference is as exaggerated as it feels. love the bigger shape, my flick game is so weak tho :( , prob just needs some more work.

Gained weight from drinking beer throughout the lovely Wisconsin winter and am now relearning to balance with the extra pounds on. Very excited to shred more when the snow melts. I have a Polar and some blazers on the way, both of which I have never tried for skating so I am stoked. Hope everyone is doing well--I am gonna post an edit once I can do more than kickflip lol.
