This is just a reminder to keep all talk in the OVER thread. Talking about things that are over in other threads is OVER.

@yoder umm Omaha-ish. I live in town and my parents live about an hour away, and I'm staying with them for the holiday. It is snowing as I write this, though.

Christmas is great. My group of friends did both a roommate gift exchanges (got 3 other roommates) and a Yankee swap friendgroup gift exchange.
Friendgroup I got a lightup diamond ore Minecraft thingy. Too bad I don't play MC.
Friends gave me a Fallout Pop Vinyl, plushy bat (it matches my soul, one said), and a drinking horn (it matches my personality, the other said). The drinking horn in particular came from my straightedge roommate which is just excellent. Apparently I'm a vampire viking hikikomori.
One roommate (was a previous roommate, probably best friend level) got a crowbar and parkour book.
Another got a capybara plushie (her favorite animal)
The other (straightedge) got a holo-playing card deck full of illustrated dragons. She really likes dragons.
Anyone else got good pre-Christmas Christmas gifts opened?
Waiting on the next gift exchange between GF and I. I have a feeling she got me alcohol and something "hand made." I'm getting her a machete in the shape of a katana because she's a violent weeaboo.

Saved up and ordered my mom at Travail en Famille chiffon!
However, I still don't know what to get my dad. Unlike , he has successfully quit the game to the point where he is content with owning things until the end of time. I was gonna get him a fruit tree because he likes to garden, but with the drought in Los Angeles forcing us to redo our landscaping in favor of more water efficient plants I don't think that's the best idea. Maybe get him some tea. That's what I'll probably get. Wow, writing this actually helped me a lot. Thanks fellow teens!

From my roommates I got a Hario cold brew coffee maker and The Great Shark Hunt by Hunter S. Thompson.
Gave one a Sweetgreen hat (because he's a skinny betch)
Gave the other a dope USA hockey jersey (great thrift store find)
And I've finished off all my shopping already! First year with a real job = first year buying real gifts for people. I like it.
