Stationery thread!

I'm interested in this now after deciding I want to improve my handwriting + have a journal around for general life events. Another checked box on the "I'm an incoming college freshman list."

I found this wonderful blog: http://www.threestaples.com/

I like everything about it, but especially the way Jinnie copyrights her images. It's like a little hunt everytime.

Probably gonna buy into a few of the positives in her gel pen round-up in the near future. I'm using a Pilot V5 RT (https://www.amazon.com/Pilot-Precise-Re ... B001E6A9M8) that I was handed recently, but I want something I bought and thought about myself.

Thoughts on it so far
-The color is good, just a nice black.
-the bleed is sorta heavy, and I'm getting some smudging.
-The design feels a touch flimsy? Like it could fall apart on me pretty easily.

Overall solid, the 0.5 mm is nice, and I think I just like sharp lines and such.

My first journal is a Moleskine Classic Collection Hard Cover (https://store.moleskine.com/usa/en-us/n ... abEALw_wcB)

Only had one entry in it as of 15 minutes ago.
Thoughts on it so far
-Paper is a touch thin. Either that or the V5 bleed through is way heavy.
-Size is perfect for me. Can fit in all the pockets of my favorite shorts and most of the pockets in my jackets.
-Color is nice
-Lines are a good size and a good way for me to measure while I work on keeping my writing consistent.
