Anyone have suggestions or resources for upgrading my HiFi setup? I've been using an AT-LP60 and shitty bookshelf speakers since I first started listening to records a few years back and just came into some money, so I figure it's time to upgrade. I'm aiming toward an entry level audiophile price point, but I'm a bit lost beyond reading reviews and choosing something that comes with a good recommendation, particularly when it comes to how different components work together.

Sam Evian put out an incredibly soft rock psych album over a year ago and I've been really digging it.
Great rendition of "Jealous Guy" by him below, the guitarist interp is incredible and their vocals are great.
Been getting more and more into folk music as of late, Little Wings out of nor cal, Kevin Morby, Angel Olsen, M. Ward &c...
Current listening set-up is an LP120, and a Pioneer SX-780 with a DIY power amp circuit to replace the bad IC. Great for my small apartment, definitely more output power than I will ever need. Running the stereo into some Boston Acoustic A60/A40s. Granted, I don't think I have terribly discerning hearing as whenever I listen to other people's set-ups I've never really been able to make out advantages/differences, my hearing is pretty piss-poor for low-end stuff too.

Have you ever heard this?
was immediately attracted by the title of the band and album/album art and was not disappointed by the gothic-ass sounds

might even be Nicolas Jaar's best song yet. honestly unbelievable.
Edit: , Do rate those. but probably prefer Fight from that album.
Think History Lesson and it's placement on Sirens makes it one of my faves too. A different style of his, but The Ego has always been my personal favourite, even if I'd objectively probably say it isn't his best.

Man I love everything off of the Nymphs releases, but man when Nymphs II dropped I couldn’t get enough of it.
I also have a huge soft spot for the dark side remix of RAM. Doin it right is killer.

I really like Suzanne Kraft, along with Gigi Masin, Jonny Nash, and Gaussian Curve. Sounds really insulating and comforting.

i've been sleeping on puma blue (swum baby) for a bit but i've been super into it. his vocal timbre reminds me a lot of chet baker --- there's this almost minor nasality to the voice in the higher registers. some songs seem to veer further away from the cool/west coast jazz style and lean heavier into the blues/neo soul influencee imo, but some tracks (want me, in particular) definitely give off chet vibes.
