Applied to Northeastern for Early Action a few minutes ago with intent to get an RN (registered nurse) degree. I'm relieved but also really nervous, this is going to be a long two months. College is going to be so much fun regardless of where I'm accepted.

any campus/institution that serves mid-low grade SYSCO food will have you shitting pretty regularly.

not sure how much of this is hearsay but it's the same company that serves most penitentiaries in the states IIRC and food there is made to move pretty quickly thru your gi tract for a bunch of reasons.

What I was told using laxatives is because if there is any "issues" with the food, it will go out of your system quickly.

But how does Sodexo fair?

A side story; when I interned at a company that had a Sodexo managed cafeteria, I realize that they didn't process debit/credit transactions on the spot because it posted a few days later, but rather in batches at the end of the day. I used a Gift Card with insufficient funds to purchase my lunch for a week or two until the manager tracked me down with a bill with all my declined transactions totaling $1XX of dining related to my name. I ended up writing them a check lol

I've also seen SYSCO trucks deliver an elderly long-term care place where I grew up

I've done lots of work on interactive and experience design, and I *want* to find a way to get into natural language processing as I think it's kind of important.

Everything on there looks really fucking interesting. If you ever want to brainstorm anything (esp. software dev. for social good) I'd be so in.
