Director Robert Zemeckis seamlessly mixes live action with animation wizardry in this cinematic groundbreaker featuring Bob Hoskins as gruff gumshoe Eddie Valiant, who agrees to take the case of Roger Rabbit, a zany cartoon star framed for murder.
it's funny
it's erotic
it's animated (!)
what's not to like

http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/Arrow ... d=13630398Similar to Smallville, this tells the story of the Green Arrow, an affluent playboy who was stranded on an island and believed dead for 5 years who comes back with vengeance on his mind. Really enjoying it so far.

stuff I watched on netflix recently that was good:
Upstream Color- science fiction, really strange and beautiful
Computer Chess- weird indie comedy about a chess programming tournament, shot in b/w on 1960s video technology
Beyond the Black Rainbow- super trippy homage to 1970s science fiction, amazing visuals and soundtrack, highly recommended
Oldboy- I like oldboy, whatever
House of Cards- rec'd up there, good if you're into political dramas, kind of falls apart toward the end but some good performances

I really liked it up until Also Zoe Bell and all the "TWITTER! NEW MEDIA! JOURNALISM IS CHANGING" stuff annoyed me to no end. Most of the performances were great though, Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright, alcoholic guy, and Kevin SPacey's creepy right hand man guy were fantastic (sorry I'm shit at remembering names).

I love this series so so much. It's a surreal and stylized 90s crime thriller/mystery/soap opera created by David Lynch and I highly recommend it.
