Went to a poetry thing. Some people are really good at performing. What's with that? Even in my best performances I'm one step away from total breakdown. Some people seem born to stand in front of people and talk shit.

My other issue is that I find it really hard to write poems that ppl connect to? Like some people seem to write stuff that's really accessible about like childhood or relationships or w/e but I wanna write poems about cowboy betrayal and ghosts in space. I feel like I should be able to make a poem about a space ghost (coast 2 coast) relatable to people but it's a struggle compared to like writing a poem about your job being boring? IDK just venting because I wasn't happy with my performance. The solution to all my problems is probably just HARD WORK.
