I just finished Mimpi Dreams. In Mimpi Dreams, you are a cute dog and you go on adventures solving puzzles. I had a lot of fun peeing on everything and saving princesses.

New Nintendo console looks pretty cool. Controllers look kinda uncomfortable when split between two people, but I like the idea of a somewhat modular console. Also "Switch" is a cool name, much better than Wii U or New 3DS.

I cannot stand playing league anymore. The community is so, so terrible. It's unbelievable. The game 6 years ago was so fun and welcoming, everyone was intrigued and happy to be playing a team game. Now Riot has engineered metas, and being F2P has created such a hostile environment that just isn't fun. I can't go one game without people telling me I am bad and they hope my mother gets cancer. It's like, how did it come to this? Overwatch has such a better community. Every game I can find something to talk about and people seem to be generally interested to play and try to win. Of course, there are people who tilt and go off the rails, but it is rare that it happens once in a night. Is it really just because league if F2P? Is that really it? I don't get it man, but fuck this game.

now is an excellent time to switch to dota if youre still interested in playing mobas. a massive patch just hit that basically means nobody has any clue what the optimal builds are, and compared to league there isn't really such a thing anyways. the meta isn't engineered, all heros are free, there's a lot more flexibility, and it has a much higher skill cap (smiling)

I've switched to a diet consisting of Rocket League, Overwatch, Titanfall 2, and the occasional Hearthstone battle, and I gotta say, it's just something about the way MOBAs are set up with long games and small mistakes compounding that I think leads to that vitriol.

So glad marvel vs capcom is getting a sequel. Doubt ill play much of it but umvc3 was so much fun to watch and the community deserves another game

Been on that Stardew Valley binge from Steam sales. Took 15min to choose the 16bit outfit, ended up going with the cardi that looks kinda like an SNS Herning. Watering plants is tiresome in the first few seasons but there's so much cool stuff that becomes available later on.

Battlerite is super fun it's a top down MOBA using WASD to control. It's in beta still rn so it's $14.99 on steam.

Anyone have Battlefield 1? It's on sale. Damn does it look fucking good seriously. I'm kinda surprised my computer runs it so well since it's like 3 years old at this point and wasn't amazing to begin with, but I'm not complaining. I'm excited to hop into the multiplayer the last Battlefield game I played was Bad Company 2 which was super super fun.

I've played a lot of BF1 on PS4 it's pretty good and the game isn't anywhere near the buggy clusterfuck that BF4 was upon release. new gamemode (operations) is pretty cool but its kinda slim on content otherwise (mostly thinking about the weapons and unlock system). Still a ton of fun and worth it on sale i'd say.

the game is factorial. it's a game where you assemble factories to automate processes to eventually get off a planet you have been stranded on. you start with only a pickaxe. this is about 8 hours of work. incredible game. anyone who has an "engineering" mind would highly enjoy this.

the last guardian was a huge disappointment. so little joy involved
