It's supposed to feel like 39 C today with a risk of a thunderstorm so I'm hiding inside where there is air conditioning...

Also fahrenheit is silly, please keep all temperatures in celsius.

after a very mild summer, new york city is finally hot and humid as heck.

Fall hit MPLS today. Crisp 58 when I left for work this morning with a slight breeze. High of 66 today.

it's been 85 degrees every day since i got to school and while i can't complain i must admit i brought way too much flannel for me to be okay with this

i feel your pain, i can't wear jackets or anything. and i can't wear tank tops to work. so i've had the same like five tshirts in rotation every week. i just wanna fucking layer goddamnit

brutally hot in montreal these past few days. I never thought I'd say this but I can't wait til it gets colder here.

I can't wait to move to socal at the end of this month. It's been 95+ (35 C) everyday since early june and tomorrow will be the 43rd day we've had 100+ in central california. I just want to wear denim comfortably during the day again.

total bullshit that talking about the weather automatically makes people think the conversation can't go anywhere else. The weather is important. It contributes to my mood, my comfort, my whole life. I love talkinga bout the weather, I love the weather, good or bad.

Is it just me or is the best type of weather when it's a nice 85-90f, humid, but not too humid, overcast with very flat light, right before a thunderstorm? I love being outside during this weather and being able to hear the thunder of in the distance and the whole day you're just waiting for this massive storm to come. I love it when the air is so still and muggy that it seems like nothing is being done anywhere and the whole world is quietly waiting for the relief of rain. I love it when it's so quiet and still that it seems like a car driving past is a major disturbance. Then obviously the second best type of weather is a tie between a blizzard at night and the actual thunderstorm.

ideal conditions: 17 degrees celsius. overcast. light clouds though, no sign of rain. low humidity.

Best summer weather is Vegas (SWUS) - 90-95 F with little to no butt cover but absolutely 0 humidity at all. Nothing but beautiful life-giving sun bearing down on you. The utter lack of humidity means you step in the shadows and it's 5 degrees cooler, and come sunset it drops by 15, perfect for more energetic night life.

EDIT: That being said, I'm down with Sam's second bit, specifically that there's nothing quite like being out and about in the midst of a torrential downpour. Running in a thunderstorm is also an incredible experience.

How many of you have never experienced like -25 C (-13 F) weather? Or rather, how many of you have gone most of your lives without it and then suddenly had it inflicted on you? I just met someone today who said they'd never seen snow and I just realized that abundant snow/cold is not really a normal thing.

lived in mild winters my entire life and i've only seen snow once on a trip to lake tahoe when I was little. I don't know what cold is

trying to look cute when the humidity is 100% is really hard!

My ideal weather is totally 90ish F, with it starting to storm just as I reach home, and sit on my porch/balcony/covered deck and watch the thunderstorm roll in, its booms constant and piercing, the soft rain coming down and cooling the earth.

It's getting cold and I'm pleased.

I had this boss for a while who never talked about her life or asked about mine, she just mentioned the weather and I organized her files. It was very weird.
