At first glance, I'm really not a big fan of this show. Maybe it will grow on me over the next few days, but my initial reaction is slightly disapointed.

this is just SO FUCKING GOOD

like holy shit christopher bailey is one of the greats. he is so good with colors. he always shows the perfect amount of restraint. his collections are infallibly cohesive but still completely recognizable as burberry prorsum.

the textures and patterns are amazing. the furry coat, the mesh shirts, the felty wooly stuff, the slight sheens

i seriously love every look

glorious isn't it? the scarves and bags are going to sell like hotcakes. apparently some of the bags are hand-painted leather and suede, others are re-purposed vintage carpets and rugs. not as playful as last season but so romantic. the pleated trousers, the scarves, the blouse-y shirts.
