it's driving me crazy looking at these clothes but not being able to touch them. i feel like steinmetz stuff is so, so tactile and i feel like i'll never be satisfied just seeing all these odd fluffily distressed denims. the lookbook does a great job of getting across the incredible feeling/texture of the fabrics which is quite nice, though—i feel a lot of lookbooks focus on the styling and don't really get across the materiality/physical experience of what it's like to feel, touch, wear the clothing. and i feel conveying that physical experience is what makes me the most emotionally connected to pieces.
