i don't really hate it? it's wang going back to what made him popular and successful in the first place, "downtown cool" through the lens of what's popular at the moment, so there's something 90s about this but not as obvious or nauseating as every other designer. apparently this collection had no theme or "flintstone" so maybe it's a carte blanche for him to move forward post-balenciaga and his first decade at his own label.
i don't like him as a designer but compared to the rest of NYFW, this is at least something worth looking at and discussing
