Last season wasn't great, and the show photography was crap too but this season is back to what they do best, well designed takes on British clothing that are clearly made to be worn but still justify a catwalk show. They have a long running collaboration with Christian Loboutin for their runway shoes, apparently Louboutin himself wears e tautz, which explains why they are normally crap but this season they are great! Other highlights: the trousers as always, especially the denim, THE SHORTS, especially the denim, the knitwear and some of the mid length jackets. The throat latch shirts and epaulets are kind of gross, and although the graphic stuff contributes to it as a show, I still find it very average. The tailoring is also pretty w.e

also good to see strong commitment to the colour brown

billowy shirt tucked into short shorts looks great here. all the suits and stuff look great. fucking great proportions and nice BIG silhouettes as usual

dunno what Mr. grant was thinking with this color palette it all the colors look mushy. its cool to know his stance on the European union I guess haha

E tautz is cheaper than Margaret Howell (which has got really bananas if we're honest) and basically just as good if not better so why not you know.

If you're looking at new prices e Tautz is miles cheaper @ouchothegaucho.

A plain white shirt can set you back #300 from TSI Holdings Ltd whereas Pat G is only charging #140 or so which, due to my internalisation of luxury shirt pricing is the going rate for "A Decent Shirt"

I wrote that comment at 2am and I should mention I do also like the etaut clothe look. I like the shiny shiny sportswear and the properly voluminous trousers. A lot of the trousers put out by the TSI Holdings Design Team actually just look like stuff easily obtainable from M&S.

I just re looked at the margaret howell show and to be honest I'm not sure I could tell them apart so I take back my comment about the trousers.

E Tautz trouser length makes me feel better than the current MH ones though.

The £165 shirts are just a standard fit taken from the shirtmaker who manufactures the shirts I think, they are probably not much different from an emma willis shirt. To be fair my experience of Margaret Howell and MHL gear is that some of it is really not great value for money, I sent back a MHL jacket and I have a second hand shirt from Howell that is made out of pretty lame fabric.

I think the trousers look pretty different, the wide cuffed maggie trews are really nice but the slim cuffed ones look like something salvatore ferragamo/canali/corneliani/any other milan brand would do.

Always like a bit of E.Tautz but I swear nobody actually buys the stuff
