styling is really great. casely-hayford must be stocked in nearly every shop in london, but i never seem to give the individual pieces a second glance, yet everything here seems spot-on. can def see check trousers being pushed hard over the next few months

Some really strong looks in this show - great choices being made. I like the blurred lines created between colour blocking and actual patterns

I like the illusionistic layering, especially the jackets with lapels in different fabrics. The whole thing was a bit eclectic. In dazed they said they were influenced by a bunch of stuff including the Bauhaus, jayz, and rude boys. Not sure how much I see it. Much overall I really liked it. Agreed with germ, I've seen it a bunch but never given it a second look. Will certainly reconsider now.

smiles listed some of the influences but i'd definitely agree that there is a surfeit of ideas here and many of them are underdeveloped. some context: Casely-Hayford is a father and son team, which might explain the lack of direction; C-H sr used to be in charge of Gieves and Hawkes so has a sharp eye for tailoring and C-H jr works or worked at DSM so is obviously pretty on-the-ball with new trends etc
