wouldn't have known jil'd left tbh, which is more of a damnation of her most recent tenure than praise for this snoozefest. lots of nice individual pieces and textures but this could be one of a dozen labels showing at milan

this is jil to the letter but can't say it does much for me. miss the curves of last falls collection.. feel like Prada does a lot
of the same things but better this season.
i like the printed and multimedia(?) pants, and the last green coat could be ace. as always with jil, have to wait to see how things handle in person.
does anyone know if she had a hand in this? is the jil sander man becoming antiquated? the fabrics and ideas here are all very modern to me but the leathers and shape of the trousers are looking increasingly dated. what is jil sander if not modern?

officially this was designed by the in-house team
the shapes are so reminiscent of the early 00s aren't they? i feel like they must have just raided the archives. that teal knit twinset feels kind of modern though. i think i'd wear it. i read a piece about pringle twinsets recently.
