I've resisted a linen Barena jacket for £75. The kind of thing I said I wanted for summer. Dunno if that's the right decision but I've spent the evening getting depressed about money which is a pretty good motivator for trying to save.

Good job there, put that £75 into savings or something.

There'll be other good deals of linen jackets for summers to come but you don't desperately need it now. You'll feel better making it through this month than you will looking at linen jackets in your cupboard when it's raining and cold most of the year.

Ugh went to town and tried on some ann d dark grey suede derbies with a thick natural sole, so fucking tasty and they fit perfectly and redonkulous price. Managed to resist temptation despite the encouragement of the 11 year old sales assistant, but if my money wasn't safely tied up on a separate account it would have been hard

i just gave away all my doc martens. and a bunch of other shoes/clothes

i could never get those stone island pants signed for/delivered so they got sent back to yoox for full refund. and now the stone island sale section is gone. sent them an email about it but i expect it's lost in the yoox vortex.

so i guess i'm on the lookout for some "grungy military technical cargo type" pants that will properly express my personality in the coming fall!

The coat I have also has that chain thing, it feels well chavvy but is pretty useful.

I have my +J chesterfield but if we're going to be like that there wouldn't have been much point in buying the linen twill overcoat anyway.

Feel paranoid about the +J chesterfield though because it's XS and I'm pretty sure I've got somewhat bigger. It still seems to sort of fit me but I don't know for how long.

How is it going to influence us for the future?

Is anyone planning to continue further into the jungle? I think I might, or I might set myself a ludicrously low spending limit (like £50) and get some tshirts (it's hot)

I wanted to put money aside for London and I did so, although less than originally planned.

It's been frustrating not buying things but rewarding to not be able to jump onto sales. I really do hate them.

Definitely want to revisit no-buy again in the near future with no plans to spend the money later, just stick all discretionary money straight into savings and ignore it for the month.
