Kazuo Kiryama def a style icon for me as a teen. I had a USMC dress jacket and messy hair. Dress jacket not exactly jap school uniform but probably better in the indie rock circles I found myself in.

have you guys seen this movie? it's from 'look back with anger'. one of my favorite movies, both in terms of style and otherwise. richard burton wears kind of a romanticized version of what i think a mid-century british dude would wear. maybe thats weird for germ and bela. but like duffle coats and heavy knits and such.



for myself and a lot of people who grew up in the 90s, kurt cobain will forever be the ultimate style icon. i think also he is part of the reason why i dislike fits that are just like all margiela because there is so little effort involved. not that you need to only use stuff from goodwill but i think my favorite fits are those with a variety of sources for the garments. i really like the needles rebuild line for this reason.
