So I mentioned the show "I didn't know I was pregnant" (or w/e it's called) to my mother and she said that this girl in her class in junior high got four months pregnant and had no idea because there was zero sex ed at the time. They found out because one of the PE teachers noticed during gym glass.

This was in China in the 70s though.

This is my nightmare. A woman my boyfriend works with didn't find out until she was SIX MONTHS in. I've heard it's more likely to happen if you're on the shot (Depo), since some of its main side effects are the same as pregnancy, so you don't realize til it's way late...

So we have this new temporary manager because one of our managers is taking two weeks off, we've had a shitton of stuff get changed all throughout our theater and it's been rought to say the least this weekend.

Triple digits in terms of waist each night and we had multiple people off quite a bit (relative to what they usually are off if at all) on register so it's going to be a rough monday when our boss comes in.

Works is rough, that is all.

Haven't been on all weekend due to graduation and grad parties! Speaking of which, High School is now officially over for me. Very exciting and extremely bittersweet. I have college orientation in two days and couldn't be more excited. I also leave for a trip to Costa Rica before starting a full time job the rest of the summer. Stoked on life.

When I look back over the years at all the money I've dropped on shit (and i'm only 18, haven't had much time to do it) dope, alcohol, other stupid shit w/e I feel sick. Especially since most of the time it wasn't even my money.

I miss the sound of thunder so much. Also the smell of wet dirt and ozone, the comforting regularity of afternoon summer storms, the cool humidity afterward, the way the light is so diffuse under gray skies—even getting caught in a downpour while running or biking and soaking to the bone, and you can't do anything but laugh and press on. Too bad it hasn't rained in months in this godforsaken droughtland :'(

Ended up exactly $10 over on my register after this 11 hr shift, honestly, like, really?

It's policy that you get written up for being over/under anything more than $5 so I got written up. We have a whole 3 strikes -> month of so I'm not nervous it just looks bad.

Anyways, how fucking stupid. Written up for having more money than I should have, I obviously didn't just "FORGET" to give someone $10, it had to be a mistake somewhere along the line. sigh.
