This weekend I was working as a photographer as a country club Santa photographer. I've never seen so many children dressed by rich parents before. One father was wearing a blackwatch blazer, and had his son wearing matching blackwatch trousers. I've also never seen so many baby boat shoes in my life.

found this Norman Hilton suit at the thrift. Crazy thing from the 80s with great lapels (and roll), navy, unstructured shoulders with a full canvas. 41R which is way too big for me. Snagged it for my brother (and it fits him spot on)

turns out the brand is some crazy prep brand that backed RL hard during his start, and even made his suits

i love this schneider scarf but honestly i think i might back it 'cos i've worn it out a few times for short period and i've been way too warm and then got itchy and haven't know what to do... like it's beautiful but i think it might even be too warm for me... :( is this a thing with anyone else? it's a huge blanket thing and honestly it all felt a bit too much

I was planning to buy dainty black derbies at some point (along the lines of DR Cali), but then I impulse-bought the Dr. Marten's ones with the clunky soles when they were marked down to <$70. I think I made the right call.

Also, I'm at my parents' house for 2.5 weeks, and I only brought along gray/white/black clothing so that "I wouldn't have to worry too much about putting on clothes." Not sure if that was actually a good idea. The one pair of blue jeans I brought along looks really out of place, too.
