Some alright looking knitwear, some sweats and tees that aren't special but are "made in italy" so might be nice if you're worried about sweatshops. Almost all of the below needs to be considered wrt to price but maybe some of it is a slept on barg? Plus it always gets included in the yoox discounts.

bela, yeah i tried an '8' coat when i did a 'yoox bingo' looking for a slim chesterfield. it was pretty good, on a par with folk/cos/that type of thing.

i often notice in internet discussions the assumption that made in the EU is superior to made in china (or made in the EU by chinese people). Why would that be?
and, separate (far more important) question, many of the chinese people in these situations clearly want to be there, it's obvious that an EU sweatshop offers better prospects than whatever they had at home. of course i'm not advocating sweatshops, just trying to work out what i think about this stuff...

Just to clarify, I've no assumption that the "quality" will be higher for made in italy, I was just assuming the worker conditions were better. I tend to assume this about pretty much everywhere vaguely in Europe incl places like Turkey, Romania etc.

I guess it's a stupid assumption in some respects, but is it unreasonable to think that it's harder to flout labour laws in Italy than Bangladesh?
