When I first began posting links to eBay in this thread I had no idea that I was taking the first steps in a spiritual and intellectual journey that would prove to become one of the defining and fulfilling elements of my adult life. As I have expanded and developed my practice it has brought me great pleasure, however more recently, though my practice remained as fulfilling as ever, I realised that I was experiencing a moment of stasis. At first I let the realisation pass but as time went by it became become harder and harder to avoid dwelling upon it. It is surely no great boast for me to claim to be one of the greatest minds working in the eBay fashion sphere at this moment. This undisputed status, along with bringing me tremendous personal well being has also brought with it an incredible pressure to continue to strive and develop. At present I feel that posting links to listings is no longer in keeping with the type of practice I seek to progress within. As such I feel that it will be necessary for me to stop posting links (except in certain, rare circumstances.) No doubt some of you have already noticed that I no longer post links, though most of you probably just look at the pictures and then go post in the Kanye West thread. This practice will continue for the forseeable future. Links will not be made available on request.

I have always drawn great energy and warmth from the positive responses and polite refusals to buy anything that arise from my practice here and I hope that the rest of care-tags.org can understand my reasoning as to why this change is being made. It's with great pleasure that I extend to all of you an invitation to join me as I continue on this journey.

- you posting like this without the links reminds me of an idea I had in which a giant digital garment archive is created by scraping ebay, y!, rakuten. Images would be auto-included along with the title posted by the seller. Browsers of this proposed site would be able to add seasonal information if they knew it or other details about the garments. The point would be not to buy but instead just create a browseable library of garment images for various known brands.

Like most of the time I browse ebay or whatever I'm just kind of looking to add to my mental library of cool clothes that exist, even more so than trying to buy something.

i was going to post these, then i was thinking hmm nah ill buy them myself, but i decided against it.

blackmeans yokoshima denim in a size 1, retail is like $350 and here they are for about $50 bin. there are some issues (stitching problem you can probably fix at a cleaners/tailor for cheap) but if you're wearing blackmeans you probably don't care. if they don't sell and get relisted, they're mine.
