Today I am celebrating my 100th day on a mythical island where there's nothing to eat but a pig (sometimes a chicken). I've been here many times, brought here by grinning assholes trying to prove that they are right and I am wrong and vegans are stupid because bacon.

For the majority of my time on this island I have been questioning my tormentor about what the pig is eating, but that question has gone unanswered. Alas I fear I may find myself here again before long.

Where do you guys get your B12 from? Supplements or fortified food? I just read something that said excess B12 can cause acne, which is slightly worrying.

I take b12 pills (when I remember :S). I feel like it's easier and safer to do that than trying to reach your daily nutritional requirement through plant milks/nutritional yeast.

http://veganhealth.org/b12/rec recommends two 1000µg doses per week. It does say that"Large doses of B12 can trigger acne-like symptoms in a small percentage of people." but if you take the recommended amount you shouldn't have any problem, right?
