Reverse opportunity cost: finally found a buyer for that less but better shirt that juuuuuust doesn't fit me right juuuuuust as i'm making my peace with how it fits me. realistically it's good that i'm letting it go but i'm appreciating how cool every piece of it (even the pieces that didn't work for me) is and i'm going to miss that cool. just took pictures of it with every appropriate pair of pants i own to convince myself.

anyone have any experience with marni shoes? i just bought these my girlfriend - i think they're awesome but they didn't have her half size.
if not, anyone know how velvet stretches? sometimes leather will stretch a half size (i'm looking at you - engineered garments vans) but i know nothing about velvet

That is one hardcore parka, but that's a lot of pound coins.

What's going on with this

One Thousand Four Hundred Pounds is an entire winter wardrobe and not even a uniqlo one.

They have a "cheaper" fishtail (half the price...) but it doesn't have a zip out lining and instead has goretext bonded with fleece or something similarly weird sounding.

It's $1700 cad direct from arcteryx which I think is cheaper than that. Still crazy money though

Shit there's a 50% founders sale at mr porter ()

for that price. Broguing is reflective like cat's eyes under certain light in person.

Image

They also have those current season light blue distressed shoes even cheaper but I'm not so sure about them.

Help!

Can't believe mr porter does founder's sales. So wack.

Are you meant to be cop freezing or not syekmoms?

Either way it sounds like you didn't care until they were on sale. Or at least I didn't hear you caring.

Not cop-freezing but planning to drop my cash in london sales so my money is to be spent on anything i want with a good discount.

I've been interested in these shoes since I first saw them in person as AW was rolling out but not €600 interested. Made a mental note to come back to them come sales but I doubt stocks'll last at the store here and their sales start at 30%.

pretty big day today. photos are abysmal but i'll take some actual fit pics soon.

fits basically perfect with a hoodie underneath, little bulky without which is cool for bombers anyway. dunno what retail was but I feel like i totally fleeced that guy getting it for $50+shipping, 9.8/10 condition.

Image

kinda splurged on this one but the detailing is impeccable, blows the rest of my wardrobe away. retail doesn't even feel that egregious.

oddly enough apparently WM sizing got big this season. I was expecting to be a 3 or a 4 but i tried the 2 and it fits well, and one of the dudes who works there said that he's a 1 in pants now coming from like a 3.

Don't even think I'm going to buy a parka anymore. All the ones I want are £600. Might buy one next year or something.

Don't get SNS if you're afraid of itchy wool. SNS is really hearty and tough and not very comfortable on bare skin.
