Meetup is still a go for 19th and 20th. Plan is to do touristy stuff (museums, walking) Saturday and if people want to stick around til Sunday we'll do shopping then.

Loop area: Barney's, Independence, George Greene, Suitsupply (building is cooler than the suits though), Patagonia, Jil, Gallery Aesthete, Haberdash, Nike, Ralph Lauren. I know I'm forgetting a bunch so forgive me.

Wicker Park: RSVP, Apt No 9, Mildblend, and St. Alfred's.

Some of the folks that used to work at Haberdash just opened a new store called but it's pretty far north.

^ pretty much most of it, but here are a few more and descriptions of previous ones :

Barney's, Saks Fifth, Nordstrom, Apt No. 9 :
of course the bigger retailers. nordstrom on michigan/grand has some pretty cool stuff in it.

Haberdash / Notre :
Haberdash is mostly a lot of heritage-y brands. aldens, gitman vintage, moncler, forgot the rest really.
notre seems like a cool shop, but it's pretty far off. never been yet.

Independence :
(come visit me/timothy). EG, Post Overalls, Oak Street Bootmakers, Kapital, etc. EG FWK also here as well.

St. Alfreds, RSVP Gallery :
st. alfreds has great sneaker releases and pick up cool brands. (UC, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers, Bounty Hunter, Acronym, Visvim, etc.)
rsvp also carries C.E. and all of those other brands, but the mark-up is fairly high.

George Greene :
chrome hearts, MA+, Thom Browne, and luxe suiting. A LOT of chrome hearts which brings in their customer base. (wealthy chinese consumers)

Gallery Aesthete, Jil Sander, Y-3/Adidas Concept Store, Oliver Peoples :
all of these are located on oak street.
gallery aesthete has the likes of rick owens, julius, individual sentiments, margiela, kuboraum, etc.
y-3/adidas concept store is fairly small but has good stock. raf simons x adidas, yohji x adidas, rick x adidas, and y-3 clothing.

Steven Alan :
steven alan house brand, acne, EG, shoes like pottery, wide range of glasses.

MildBlend & Supply Co. :
good shop if you're looking for denim. a lot of american/japanese selvedge denim here.
also some cool backpacks and porter things occasionally.

Sir & Madame :
bunch of cool brands that are pretty hard to find. mark mcnairy, LVC, etc.

Uprise :
great skate shop, sometimes has some cool things in. they used to carry palace i believe.

Meyvn :
new store that opened up in logan square, has brands like dana lee, common projects, etc. definitely worth checking out.

ikram :
mostly (if not all) womenswear pieces. A LOT of cool stuff in here like Undercover, Junya, Comme, sacai, etc...

but yeah, mostly oak street area are where all of the boutiques are located.
they're scattered around, but sometimes some shops can be surprising.

that's crazy. i have a friend that goes there and a few friends that go to Western. i live like an hour away from kalamazoo. we gotta link up before the semester ends.
