i can't look at that and not see some kind of parody. it was like a google algorithm had been studying internet fashunz in 2012 and then stepped out off the screen into the real world.

what business does this futuristic luxury ninja have working for commission and organizing clothes racks? why wasn't he on a G4 airpane? or at least slumming it off the grid in bangkok.

I feel you, but can't help but wonder if it's because you just happen to think the gn look is kind of dorky to begin with. Like if the dude had been decked out in Acronymn or Stone Island or Aether would you have felt the same way or been jealous of his rad shell? Maybe not shell because I don't know why he'd be wearing one indoors but whatever.

wtf? they're just clothes. while i don't doubt he's familiar with the internet presence of fashion, that doesn't make it separate from the real world and i think you looking at it through the lens of what you've seen on the internet is giving you some weird ideas about where he should be or what he should be doing based on what he's wearing.

I was watching previews at a movie when a commercial for those Adidas came up. My gf was like "who would buy those ugly shoes" but and I told her that in a couple weeks sneakerheads would be shitting their pants for these things.

Also the Raf x Adidas collab shoes have been growing on me. Not that I would ever wear them, but I like how ridiculously ugly and 90s they are. If only they had light ups in the sole.

Kind of, but not so much that kind of fashion. Actually I would say most of the "fashionable" girls I know, including the ones who work in fashion, would find those shoes hideous. I mean at my age most of the people we see IRL wearing athletic sneakers look like , so pretty much any flashy sneaker has similar connotations.

i don't just mean does she appreciate like the raf x adidas because i think they are an acquired taste to say the least, but i am always interested to hear to what degree people's friends or s.o.s are interested in fashion. i know that ben has a friend with fbts, for instance. i have like one friend who browses mfa but for the most part my friends are just kinda meh about fashion, at least where it extends beyond just wanting to look nice.
