when i was in my early teens back in the mid-2000s, where i lived every cool kid used to go into town on a saturday in a polo shirt with their best jeans and some white velcro trainers. i remember being super popular and i think i had .

i've been on a bit of a nostalgia binge recently (in all aspects of life) and i'm definitely keen on getting some velcro trainers back into my life.

so far i really like the look of the raf ones and the vans x marc jacobs ones, but i'm gonna keep digging. plus im on a cop freeze for now anyway.

Why do tennis shoes from the past look dope but tennis shoes from the present are awful. Is it because the game used to hold more of a place in the public mind so that they spent more money on catchy designs?

i would argue that there are plenty of cool sneakers being designed and released right now, though they may not be ones that fit with your particular sartorial taste.
