i said this on mf, but i really hate how people always do the same factory shots and add in a bunch of excessive filler/landscape shots into informative clips. the collection looked pretty cool though, a lot of chambray stuff which looked well designed, but i feel that chambray is getting really boring. there's only so much you can do with chambray + white stitching & buttons

is it just me or has eg's prices gotten way out of hand. there's just so much hype around it that it makes sense economically but it's still shitty. i see it going to uc levels of ridiculousness and it makes me sad.

I just browsed through 5-6 stockists, and honestly its really not that bad man. Shirting is still $200ish, pants don't go beyond roughly $300, outerwear stays well below the $1k mark (from what I've seen anyway). and most places discount it well at end of season. Maybe its trending upwards over time but its still well within the realm of what's reasonable given what similar brands cost.

Quite a few pieces of their heavier outerwear were >1k (salmon jacquard pea jacket and wool varsity off the top of my head). Prices definitely spiked this season.

their runway show didn't cost very much $, probably under 5,000.

can you name another brand who produces to EG's scale and quality for less $ in NYC? consider also how much they ship to their target market in jp.

the prices aren't tasty but also considering that EG produces a very well designed and unique product, I think the prices are fair. they could afford to raise their prices 10-15% and I doubt they'd lose much business.

I ended up winning a SS13 Field Jacket (the one with the zip-down skirt) on eBay, or so I thought. I waited all week to get the tracking number from the dude, then I woke up to a PayPal refund with a note from the seller telling me the zipper was broken and that he lost the buttons for the jacket after putting it in the wash, probably shrinking it in the process. I'm inclined to think he got a better offer and bullshitted me to get out of it. The hunt continues...

Never really given bad feedback on eBay so this will be a first.
