Best cheap socks are Smartwool irregulars at LL Bean outlets for dirt cheap.

I have these from J. Crew. I like the design but the quality is pretty poor and they aren't the most comfortable.

thin wool socks are all i really need all year long, tho some nice thick socks are pretty nice too.

People Socks are extraordinarily nice for their sale prices (5 bucks a pair).

Uniqlo socks are good when you can get them for a dollar/pair.

for the most part i only wear long white socks from this store called rural king. they are made in america (didnt know that until after i bought them) and got a pack of 13 pairs for 12 bux!!
