Was reading the Stylesight interview with bobbin and katy, and bobbin brought up the Chinese brand Red Cloud and I was wondering if any of you have any recs for interesting Chinese brands/designers. (Or any suggestions for where I can start looking?)

I'm not necessarily looking for things to purchase, but since I generally have relatives coming to and from China on a regular basis, I think it would be an interesting opportunity to explore since I've always associated China with knockoffs and shoddy clothes bought off Taobao.

I usually go to Seang but now that I've learned about about tailoring, it seems that she/her husband are more "average" tailors (i.e. they only measure one leg for hemming).

I'm not a fan of Gary's. I had him reverse some buttons on a coat and he stitched through the pocket.

Uniqlo linen shirts are fine for the price. They usually hit $20 at some point if you can wait. It's not gonna blow you away or anything but I don't know of anything better at that price.

Does anyone know about these Undercover jeans? I've emailed the seller, but they haven't replied yet and I can't find any photos of people wearing them. Pretty much, I've always assumed that the cut out knees have been relined with some other black material to fill them in. However, just today when I was about to put my bid in it occurred to me that maybe what I'm looking at is actually the inside of the back of the leg. They're from AW09.
