Recently found out that one of my coworkers in the kitchen of an italian restaurant I work at used to sell coke. Apparently he was selling to these samoan dudes at like 2 in the morning after work like three years ago and offered to take them back into the kitchen to cook up some crack and smoke it. So the pot we call the 'crack pot' is the one that he used to cook up that shit way back when. Cooks are fucking crazy.

currently packing up all my stuff from uni and it's pretty sad (not 'sad' sad, but maybe melancholic) seeing the room get more empty by the minute. looking forward to having a flat outside uni, but have had some good times in this room and enjoyed living in halls.

Looking at graduation posts on facebook makes me feel nostalgic for freshman year. 95%+ of the people I matriculated with are leaving and I'm going to follow with much less fanfare in January. I actually sorta prefer it this way.

I really, really like small internet forums that have a cohesive userbase that isn't huge. When I was younger I didn't have a lot of friends and having a lot of internet friends was really good support and let me discuss a lot of things I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. Now, I have plenty of real life friends but I still miss participating in internet forums. Discussing things with a bunch of like-minded people from all around the world can be so creatively stimulating & inspiring
