I don't have hair that looks acceptable unless I shower in the morning, so I have to wear hats on the days I don't have time to shower. Also I wear hats when I backpack, which is pretty often. I found both of these in a barn and they are one-of-a-kind as fuck.

First one has been with me for a long time and is made of rayon, it feels super cool.

The second has been with me for about a year or two. Canvas hat and the bill feels sorta like rayon too.

I'm thinking of picking up a widebrim dimple-less hat for this f/w. I feel like the lack of dimples makes it a lot more wearable in casual situations (I can't master the wool casual fedora). Not sure where to look though, I know Reinhard Plank has done hats like that before.

Been really eyeing this Lanvin hat, severely tempted to cop on sale at 225~, but I can't spend any money right now unfortunately.

it's an ebbets x styleforum hat but it's plain on the front so it's just gray flannel

hard to go wrong with something so basic honestly. i want more hats especially since my hair is getting long

i'm looking at this season's APC hat especially since it's on sale at Coggles for 40% off
Image

i really want this Câbleami bucket hat also

hats make me want long hair, since honestly an undercut just gets covered by most hats

anyway, if I were to get a cap, I'd get a textured gray adjustable strap-back with a smooth strap for my delicate and beautiful forehead, like in 's pic, and I'd wear it toolstyle

Thinking of Reinhard Plank hats like this

Image

I think the crown (is that the proper term for the entirety of the part you put on your head?) is a bit smaller/shallower in real life though, which I dislike.

Got hit by a bus while riding my bike a week ago. Minor concussion + 5 staples in the back of my head, so I've been wearing this every day.

anyone have experience with archival? i've been looking for a navy bucket hat with a nice shape for several months and randomly found this after trying to find arpenteur stockists

Image

seems p nice and they have free returns so i went ahead and ordered it ($5 shipping came out to less than $70 which is decent considering everything else i've been looking at has an $85+ tag
their caps look nice also, i like their tan more than the apc and ervell ones i've found

Is wearing a hat backwards even associated with anyone or anything anymore? It's about as ubiquitous as wearing hats brim-forwards to me.

my friends like to tease me abt it every now and then but I don't think it's retained too much of a douchey connotation over the years

might be a lil while longer before we can pop our collars w/o shame, though

I was on a mission to snatch a cycling cap while in Europe, and it was way harder than I anticipated, went into so many LBS that didn't carry caps before landing on a total goldmine in this tiny store in Stockholm. Managed to snag this red hook crit 2013 cap, and now I will forever be one of those douches that wears gear from a race that I wasn't in. Poor form.
