for real though massa needs to get better at overtaking. he is obviously in a decently fast car this year and overtaking has never really been his forté, but ffs he even forgot to open DRS at one point which is a stupid mistake. aside from that i am glad he (and perez ofc) was okay after that crash. scary stuff.

rosberg did very well to get second place. drove the shit outta that car even though he lost 160BHP (or something like that, can't quite remember) with the merc problems.

Red Bull Ring should hopefully be exciting! Nice to see if back after so long. I find it kind of stupid how the drivers aren't allowed to go off the track at Turn 8 because that does seem to be marginally faster (at least it is well enforced though and there is no grey area).

Awful qualifying from Ferrari and Williams yesterday, very happy to see Button so far up the grid too. Should be an interesting race, especially if the weather is mercurial

Alonso again having a great race despite being in that piece-of-shit Ferrari. Hope he gets a good car next season and has a good shot at the WDC. Feel bad for Raikkonen though, he just can't catch a break.

Drivers championship is getting very interesting after Rosberg DNFing. Still think it's stupid to have double points in Abu Dhabi but that might end up being the decider.

Shame that Button couldn't get podium, 1 more lap and it could have been a possibility.

You know how dominant Mercedes are when it was a surprise that Hamilton came in 3rd and not 2nd place after starting on the back row lol.

Bottas is great this season. Really showing up his teammate. Massa seriously not performing well, only him to blame for that crash really. It's a shame because it's always nice seeing him do well.

I think it's interesting that Rosberg admitted to not backing down to Hamilton at Spa, always thought he needed to be a bit more assertive/ruthless (not sure if this is the right way of putting it though - basically the way I see it he's always seemed like a more polite driver than Hamilton) and i suppose fighting for a WDC is going to bring it out of him more. Should be an exciting second half of the season.

rumours of Alonso to Mclaren Honda for next season... it could be amazing or heartbreaking depending on the car they give him. could make for some interesting moves at the end of this season if the rumours do end up being true.

Holy shit, hopefully Jules Bianchi is okay at the end of this. Would be such a loss for a talented young driver to have his career ended just like that. Really scary seeing how everyone reacted after the race, you could tell it was going to be serious when they announced what happened.
