I'm curious if anyone knows of any brands that were producing really cool things that would still be relevant but for whatever reason have faded from the forefront of peoples' minds (or were never big to begin with) or stopped making clothes.

Think about 5 or 10 or 15+ years ago--what were the brands that were in the boutiques and cool then, that people don't really think about these days? Or maybe they're still making stuff but on a much smaller scale.

I've got the opportunity to get an on the cheap online and was wondering about help for sizing. I don't trust my own judgement anymore 'cause I've been worrying about it so much.

I'm 6'1 and weigh 72kgs (158lbs) and have a 38" chest.

Based off their size chart I think I'm a 2, since 1 sounds like it would be too small and 3 sounds like it would be a little big.

im looking for a black hooded coat (not parka) that is similar to a topcoat* edit: unstructured* or mac. hopefully <$500. i know KKA made some that were ok (hood was quite large unfortunately) but the ones ive found used havent been my size (42). also jil sander has one thats great but ive only seen it in white. im ok with buying from a brand that isnt well known or anything, i know soundclip had a fit with pretty much exactly what im looking for but i think the brand wasnt clear because it was thrifted? i should thrift more. thanks

I had my SI jacket stored in a (unbeknownst to me) damp room... now the color has faded in areas to an orange sheen. I'm gutted. Anyone know if there's a fix or remedy?

Thecorner/yoox are basically shop congregators, right? So if something goes on sale on thecorner I can also find it in a shop somewhere if I look hard enough?

Edit: unrelated question - anyone know the solution to PayPal/eBay error 601 - I log into my PayPal account when eBay prompts me and then it tells me that I can't pay by PayPal and need to select different payment method. Tried googling but nothing worked so far.

does anyone know how to find more info about this EG jacket? the seller has it listed as "expedition field jacket" but I can't find anything with that name (or in any lookbook shots on the EG site) that looks quite like it. the seller doesn't know what season it is from either, but said "it's not an ancient piece, given the lack of a 'statue of liberty' tag, but it's not from the newer black label seasons."
