Everything looks so beautifully made with really nice fabrics etc. But it all kinda feels a bit mid to late 30s dad jizz which i think is cool and if i was one with cash to burn i would be on this asap... although i'd take the wool workwear shacket and beanie now (and probably the bomber lol)

How often do you waste significant money on clothes? I'm talking about clothes that you buy, but you never end up wearing them (don't fit, look different in person, etc) and you have to resell them at a loss / eat international return shipping costs / give them to your little brother / whatever. I make dumb buys that cost me $$$ way too often

that's true. the futurists were so goal-oriented in all their actions (basically the point of the movement) that one should be careful to not just deem it "cool clothes" when really it's more a political publication than anything. while obviously I'm not going to say "no you can't take flintstone from this" in my opinion it's important to note that this manifesto is more meant to provide context for their violent anti-establishmentarian views in a different medium so as to create understanding. similar to many futurist plays also; while neat to read about and trendily "avant garde," staging a production of futurist sintesi (with the intention of directing a contemporary work of course, as opposed to a historical piece) would be essentially pointless as its main purpose was really to perpetuate now-irrelevant conceptual futurist propoganda.

When they were getting them out for me, I asked the guy which stock they were meaning presale to the new owners or post and he said the old stock sold out after the sale. I took that as meaning the sale to the new blokes who run it. Could have misunderstood though. Looking on Baracuta and Stuarts the materials & pictures for the 'regular' ones, they look exactly the same as the ones I was trying on :/. I'm really disapointed man, first they stopped making the polos and now the harringtons are going down the drain. It breaks my heart.
