Out of curiosity what do you guys think is too big in a good way? (referring to deadkitties rep comment) I can definitely think of examples, Milspex in particular, where oversize looks good, but I can't place what makes it better.

His clothes still make clear reference to his proportions, if he sized down on most of it he would lose something /things wouldn't fit. You could size down once on the jeans/maybe the parka and they'd still be relatively loose on you, they honestly look like you're wearing the clothes of someone much larger than you

I need to do more research about what "proportions" are. Is this sort of a ratio of bottom to top to shoe? or is it somewhat more vague? I think you're right though. If I sized down a bit I wouldn't lose the oversized look that I'm after, but I would gain something that's still a bit nebulous to me.

I think that it's just the angle you take your pictures honestly, hard to see quite how the drape looks head-on

That being said a fishtail isn't the type of outerwear I would personally choose
