Fuck Buttons had a really cool light display too. it's hard to explain but as well as the usual lasers and lights, behind them both was a projector screen, and in front of them was a motion sensor. The sensor detected where they were and the projection changed to display their silhouettes, real time. But say the background was a video of a beach, the silhouettes were the same video, colours inverted, played backwards, or if the background was a slow-motion close-up of an eagle in flight, the silhouette was a pile of snakes writhing. very cool stuff, complete sensory overload
i dunno, mostly mediumish size venues, i'm not all that on the ball when it comes to finding new music, so i don't go to underground gigs, but i'm not one to go stadium concerts either. it looks like godspeed are touring the US atm, and then coming over for a show in london and the last ATP
