hologram tech has gotten really neat. got the chance to handle one of these a bit ago, the ability to see a 360-degree view of an object on a 2d surface was really trippy.

world yoyo contest was this weekend in prague - super cool stuff happening.

this is the first year they've had a womens division, which I think is super lame. but whatever, this girl kicked serious butt. check out the killer sideways combo at 1:55.

Miranda July just released an app/accompanying short film with Miu Miu that is very Miranda July (so turn back now if that's not your bag), but personally I think it's kind of brilliant. You choose someone to send a message to, and it's delivered by a nearby stranger/stand-in based on cues and directions in the message itself.
