Really makes me want navy pants to cuff like that and wear with my Puma x BWGH's. I don't think my New Balances (m1300) will fit nearly as well here? But I'll try anyway. Also would like patterned socks, but hell if I'll ever need more socks.

so i had recently purchased a pair of eytys from DSM online, and received them in a quick 2 days time.
however, i came home and opened the package to see that the shoes weren't brand new, and that they were thoroughly worn-in with dirt ALL over them.
not only that, but there were 2 USED socks inside of them. dirt (?) on the shoelaces, and the shoe falling apart from the sole to the main toebox.
this is seriously the first time something like this has happened to me.
i've sent an e-mail and a voicemail over to DSM so i do hope this gets resolved because i'm pissed.
out of all of this i'm just really really shocked and angry because i didn't think DSM would do this; and that they would be more conscious of what they send out.
people make mistakes yeah, but this is really lazy. has anyone else had any buying nightmares like this? (i've heard a lot in terms of paypal disputes)

was finding that i got more excited about the idea of wearing things rather then just wearing them, so largely stopped buying stuff and it's been really satisfying to wear what i have. Also living away from home so have a tiny wardrobe and don't feel limited at all.

My friend just saw Tilda Swinton at Tokyo Fashion Week. From his photo it seems like she's wearing a lilac Haider Ackermann jacket that looks so lovely with her hair and the man himself is also with her. Experiencing rampant envy right now.

feels bad when you start to notice your favorite shirt is getting too small and you're gonna have to sell it. also you're uncomfortable the rest of the day because you're wearing a slightly too-small shirt

why is it so much harder to justify spending lots of money on cool pants or trousers than other clothing items. Especially considering how much more wear they're likely to get than jackets and boots, both of which serve as my personal currency black holes.

What do people think about the wearing of patterns from traditional cultures? I was looking at Woolrich flannel on Ebay last night and noticed that they have some shirts with Southwestern Native American patterns. As a white guy, is it okay for me to wear that? Is it better from Woolrich than Urban Outfitters? If I support Native American rights and oppose colonialism does that justify my wearing it? I don't even like the pattern for me, but I'm wondering what people think about cultural appropriation (or nons-appropriation) in fashion and clothing.
